Casual and Timeless
A light and timeless look of modern blended with traditional details. This look has uncluttered simplicity with a clean airy appearance. White painted finishes with shaker or flat panel doors are trademarks of this look that never goes out of style.
Contemporary and Dynamic
A modern look blended with sophistication. This look has open spaces and clean lines. To create this look we use sleek, smooth polished surfaces and natural tones. Door styles of slab or shaker with full overlay create a clean seamless European look. Clear finishes as well as dark wood tones can both be used.
Rustic and Old World
This look is charming and homey, with a warm relaxed style. To create this look we use knotty or rustic woods, in raised panel doors. Medium stain colors and warm tones with distressed finishes give this look a lived-in, welcoming appeal.
Traditional
Inviting warmth and refined elegance characterize more traditional styles. To get this look we use rich colors, natural wood tones or glazed cabinet doors. Using raised panel doors and adding carved cabinet elements to the cabinets will result in a look you will love.

Black Willow Woodworks feels strongly that communication is key, so we provide convenient ways to stay in touch. We are always available, even during off hours. Black Willow knows that all jobs have the possibility for issues to arise and we are dedicated to working with you to find solutions to any issues that arise during your cabinet build and install.
Black Willow Woodworks will offer you guidance on door styles, wood types, cabinet styles, and color selections. We come to YOUR space and bring our interior design, layout, and construction experience to you to use. Typically, within 48 hours of meeting with you, we will generate full CADD drawings and a detailed estimate.

What will you receive from Black Willow Woodworks?
We can create a cabinet estimate off initial drawings you send to us or we can help you design a preliminary layout from a visit to your home where we can see your space. We will discuss exactly how your cabinets will be built and the cost. After this, you can expect:
Detailed CADD drawings of your cabinets as well as 3D views will be created to help you fully visualize your new space. We go the extra mile and give you full colour renderings of what you have selected.
Depending upon your needs, your design will be revised until you are completely satisfied, and you will receive updated estimates and drawings with each change. At this time, we will need to know your appliance details.
Upon approval of the final drawings, Black Willow requires a deposit to begin the build (initial 50% prior to the commencement of cutting).
Final 50% is due prior to delivery and install. You are always welcome to tour the Black Willow Shop (with an appointment) and see your cabinets in production and finished before delivery.

Build & Installation
Build Time
& Delivery
Our standard lead time is typically 4-8 weeks from signoff to have your cabinets ready for installation. If you choose finished cabinets, your cabinets will be delivered finished and if you have purchased hardware (handles and knobs) from us, all hardware will be installed.
Schedule
Installation
If you choose to have Black Willow install your cabinets by our experienced team, then you will receive a call to schedule your install time. When we arrive, there should be a clear path from the entry to where the cabinets will be installed.
Prepare Area
for Install
Your responsibility for the install is to have all existing cabinetry removed (Black Willow can do this for an extra fee) and all appliances disconnected and out of the way. All electrical and plumbing supply lines should be in place so that the installers can make the necessary cuts into the cabinetry. We will need the room we are working in to be free of clutter if possible. We do not want to break anyone’s things, so please give us the room to work.
- After install, Black Willow will walk through the job with you to discuss work in progress and answer any questions you may have. As in any construction project, cabinetry installation is a process and installation may need to be stopped for other trades to complete projects before installation may continue
- We understand some installs require several days and may require us to return for final details and adjustments
- Be assured, your job is not complete until you are completely satisfied. We want your new kitchen to be just as amazing as you do.
